In 2012 SK Butterflies established a unique butterfly breeding business. Operating
from Miami, Florida and Port-au- Prince, Haiti.

Kiki the artist, found a deceased
butterfly on the floor of her green house. Her husband, Sedrick gave her the brilliant idea of framing it. She showed him the finished product, and he quickly responded;
“I love it, I would buy that.”
Sedrick saw a potential business opportunity in Kiki’s newfound
hobby. They then decided to take this butterfly journey to the next level.

SK Butterflies offers a wide range of preserved butterflies, live butterflies, caterpillars, butterfly plants, butterfly artwork, butterfly jewelry, butterfly home décor, trinkets and more. All their butterfly artwork is cruelty-free. Each butterfly they breed is sold live or preserved. When the butterflies perish, their two daughters Vincci and Valli help them collect all the butterflies from the enclosure.
They put great effort into perfecting their hand-made work and
producing each natural beauty to be one of a kind.

SK Butterflies works with worldwide exotic butterfly species.
Sedricks main objective is to encourage the
growth of their butterfly host plants, while giving great attention and care to all the
butterflies in their green house. They insure the comfort of their butterflies, and
they uphold a predator-free ambiance within their green house.
SK Butterflies started as an unofficial business through the social media world,
through sites such as Instagram and Facebook. Through these sources they’ve had
enormous worldwide sales. As of August 2015 they became an official
incorporation.
